A few kilometers from Gaumukh is an alpine meadow called Tapovan. There is intense spiritual intensity throughout the entire area. What is the best time to visit-
The ideal time to go on the Gaumukh Tapovan Trek is May- June and September- October. Avoid visiting the place in the rainy months such as during July and August.
How to reach-
The Gaumukh Tapovan Trek begins from Dehradun as the pickup location. Dehradun is easily accessible by bus, train, and air. The closest airport to Dehradun is Jolly Grant Airport. Many important trains have stoppages at the Dehradun station if you want to travel by train. If you live nearby, using the bus is another convenient way to travel to Dehradun.
Our team will pick you up in Dehradun and we will proceed towards Gangotri, further to Chirbasa, moving forward to Bhojbasa. From Bhojbasa, we will take a steep walk to Gaumukh, and back to Bhojbasa to reach the majestic Tapovan.

Gaumukh Tapovan Trekking is a gradual uphill climb, but if you are physically sound and determined to go on the trek, you can do it without a doubt.
